From diagnosis to treatment is a time filled with questions and hope. At Centria, our process is designed to be as thorough and supportive as possible, ensuring that every child receives high-quality, individualized care tailored to their unique needs.
The First Step: Your Intake Experience
The road to progress begins the moment you apply for services. Shortly after, a member of our dedicated Intake Team will reach out to you. During this call, we’ll gather essential information about your child’s history, needs, and concerns you may have, discuss whether home-based or center-based services are the best fit, and discuss your family’s availability. This step is crucial because it allows us to match your child with the right care team and schedule the initial assessment that sets everything in motion.
Who Makes Up Your Child’s Care Team?
Once the intake process is complete, a specialized team is assembled. Your Supervising Clinician, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), leads this group with a singular focus on your child’s growth. Their role is to design a data-driven treatment plan and provide you with monthly collaboration and progress updates.
Our Behavior Technicians (BTs) are the heartbeat of our daily operations. They are the ones implementing clinical goals during every session—whether at home or in one of our centers. They collect the real-time data that is used to adjust our approach. Supporting the logistics of this relationship is the Field Staff Manager (FSM) or Operations Director (OD), who ensures that schedules remain consistent and addresses any administrative or logistical hurdles that might arise. Finally, the Director of Clinical Services provides a high-level layer of oversight, ensuring our entire program meets the highest standards of clinical excellence.
The most important member of this team, however, is YOU. You are our vital partner. You are the expert on your child. You spend the most time with your child. The supervising clinician takes time to listen to you, your aspirations for your child, and works with the team towards these goals. By working together and using tailored strategies both in and out of our sessions, we can ensure the best possible outcomes for your child.
