CHARLOTTE, NC – September 22, 2025 – Centria Autism (Centria), a leading national provider of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services for children with autism, is proud to announce that Chief Information Officer (CIO) Pawanjit Singh has been named a recipient of the 2025 Carolina ORBIE Award in the Large Corporate category. The award honors technology leaders who demonstrate exceptional innovation, leadership, and impact.
Pawanjit was recognized for his visionary leadership in harnessing technology to enhance access to care, strengthen support for clinicians, and improve operational efficiency across Centria. His work has been instrumental in enabling Centria’s care teams to dedicate more time and energy to children and families by streamlining processes that often burden clinical staff.
“The heart of our mission is providing the highest-quality care for children with autism and their families,” said David Harbour, CEO of Centria. “Pawanjit’s leadership in leveraging technology has allowed us to better support our clinicians, reduce administrative barriers, and ensure more families can access the care they need. This award reflects not only his innovation but also his deep commitment to the clinical outcomes we value most.”
Under Pawanjit’s guidance, Centria has implemented a range of digital solutions that improve clinician scheduling, reduce paperwork, and optimize staffing—leading to greater balance and efficiency for the clinical workforce. Among these efforts is the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) that supports high-volume processes. These tools help Centria expand access to care more quickly while allowing clinicians to focus on their core responsibility: delivering meaningful therapy to children.
“It is a tremendous honor to receive the 2025 Carolina ORBIE Award,” said Pawanjit Singh. “This recognition is truly a reflection of the entire Centria team. Together, we’ve embraced technology not as an end in itself, but as a way to remove barriers and make care more accessible, more efficient, and more impactful for the families we serve.”
The ORBIE Awards will be presented at a gala ceremony on September 19, 2025, at the Embassy Suites By Hilton Raleigh-Durham/Research Triangle.
