Foundations for Clinical Excellence Practicum Program

Are you an aspiring Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or interested in becoming a Supervising Clinician? Centria is excited to introduce our comprehensive Foundations for Clinical Excellence Practicum Program — a meticulously designed journey that will guide you toward achieving your career goals in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Centria’s Practicum Program: Foundations for Clinical Excellence

The Foundations for Clinical Excellence program offers an 18-month, scaffolded learning experience that supports you in completing your graduate degree in behavior analysis while gaining supervised fieldwork experience. At Centria, we are committed to equipping ABA students with the in-depth knowledge and practical skills necessary to make a significant positive impact in the field of ABA. Through this program, you’ll be prepared to deliver compassionate, assent-based, and effective treatment aligned with Centria’s Clinical Values and Foundations of Care.

Program Structure

The Foundations for Clinical Excellence program is divided into three levels, each providing a scaffolded approach to learning and practicing the essential skills needed to become a BCBA:

Student Level

Focuses on foundational skills, introducing students to the philosophical underpinnings of ABA and the behavioral systems approach to human development.

Associate Level
Emphasizes intermediate skills, helping students understand how complex human behavior develops.

Consultant Level
Covers advanced skills, providing opportunities to design, implement, and evaluate behavior change programs.

Throughout the program, students will apply ABA principles to Centria’s treatment model, gaining a deeper understanding of our proprietary CareConnect technology, which is used to plan, perform, analyze, and modify client treatment plans.

Mentorship & Support

Quality Mentorship:
A key component of the Foundations for Clinical Excellence program is access to quality mentorship. Students are supported by their immediate supervisors in the field and have the opportunity to work with other experienced supervisors across Centria, offering a diverse range of ABA expertise.

Cohort-Based Learning:
Students are grouped into cohorts, fostering collaboration and camaraderie. This sense of community is pivotal to the success of our students, as they build strong partnerships and learn from one another throughout the program.

Why Choose Centria’s Foundations for Clinical Excellence?
