Dr. Cas Breaux (they/them), a nationally recognized leader in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), has joined us as our new Vice President of Clinical Development and Mentorship. This pivotal hire marks a significant step forward in our commitment to fostering clinical excellence, integrity, and innovation.
A Career Defined by Clinical Leadership and Education
Dr. Breaux brings a unique and impressive background that aligns perfectly with our mission. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) with licensure in multiple states, their expertise is built on a strong foundation of both academic rigor and hands-on clinical experience.
Cas completed their Doctorate of Education from the University of Missouri and has served as an Assistant Professor at the University of West Florida, where they were instrumental in developing and teaching top-tier graduate-level ABA programs. Beyond their academic contributions, Dr. Breaux has created educational content for CentralReach, authored widely used curricula, and published on some of the most critical topics in our field, including assent, ethics, trauma-informed care, and neurodiversity-informed practice. Their work has not only educated countless professionals but has also helped shape how modern behavior analysis is taught and practiced today.
Innovating Our Approach to Mentorship and Career Growth
In this new role, Dr. Breaux will be at the helm of Centria’s clinical development strategy, focusing on building a framework for growth and excellence at every level of our organization.
Their core responsibilities include:
- Unifying Career Pathways: Overseeing and standardizing career development pathways, from entry-level technicians all the way through to Area Director of Clinical Services.
- Strengthening the Pipeline: Partnering with our clinical teams on the Elevate practicum program to ensure we have a robust pipeline of future Supervising Clinicians.
- Building a Scalable Framework: Collaborating with our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to integrate their specialized knowledge into a single, scalable development and mentorship program for all clinicians.
- Launching Leadership Cohorts: Creating a new leadership development cohort to prepare high-performing clinicians for future leadership roles as we expand.
With this strategic focus, Dr. Breaux will ensure that every member of the Centria clinical team has a clear path for professional growth and the mentorship needed to thrive.
