Recent news coverage about changes in autism therapy provider networks in Arizona has created some confusion about Centria Autism’s participation with AHCCCS health plans.
We want to provide a clear update for families and referring providers.
As of March 6, 2026, Centria Autism is no longer contracted with Mercy Care. This change is specific to Mercy Care.
Centria Autism remains in network with several other AHCCCS Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) and continues to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services to families across Arizona.
Current AHCCCS plans that Centria Autism remains contracted with include:
- Banner – University Family Care
- UnitedHealthcare Community Plan
- Arizona Complete Health
- Molina Healthcare
- Care1st Health Plan Arizona
Families enrolled in these plans will continue receiving services with Centria Autism.
Supporting Families Through the Transition
Over the past several months, Centria Autism has worked closely with families, clinicians, and community partners to advocate for continued access to ABA therapy for children impacted by Mercy Care’s decision.
Many families have shared their experiences publicly and participated in advocacy efforts to highlight the importance of maintaining access to autism services. Throughout this process, Centria has remained committed to supporting families and ensuring they had the most accurate information available about their options.
Our focus continues to be on helping children and families access the services they need.

Yes. Families enrolled with Banner – University Family Care, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan, Arizona Complete Health, Molina Healthcare, and Care1st may continue receiving services with Centria Autism.
